What do you do when creativity is at a low point?
A few family issues put a dampener on my creativity last week. Worrying, over-analysing and trying to fix things (that may not be mine to fix, I’ll admit) does tend to take its toll on the creative mind. And then I saw my cat. Completely unconcerned about life, children, writing, husbands and even food (given that her chubby self had already consumed her breakfast in record-breaking time). Her worries amounted to whether she really had to get off the bed I was trying to make (and what was poking her under the quilt).
PS. It is difficult to hold a camera still while you are poking a cat from underneath a quilt.

PPS. Quotes are from the movie Taken (2008) featuring Liam Neeson.

Such an entertaining post, Monique. Nothing like a cat/pet photoshoot to spur the creative spirit into action!
Brilliant: be afraid of the cat, very afraid. One healthy looking moggy xxx
This is a fabulous post. Your cat is gorgeous and it made me giggle. Thank you.
