Words You Want To Eat (ADULTS)

In this craft workshop, participants will learn the essential ingredients for writing about food and “cook up” a scene or two of their own. At the end, they will sit down to share their food scenes and memories with a cuppa and treats inspired by the novel, Wherever You Go. Duration: 3 hours Age: 16+

STORYSTARTER: CREATE-A-CHARACTER (KIDS)

In this creative and fun introductory StoryStarter workshop young writers will meet some memorable characters in the author's books, then design and make their very own character from plasticine to take home, complete with a birth certificate detailing their character’s name, place of birth and other memorable details. They’ll then talk about ways to make their character the star of its own story. Suitable for ages: 6-8 years Duration: 70 minutes
