This was not on my to-do list today. Of course, once I got started, it was hard to know when to stop. I’m talking about Pinterest. And social media. I’d just advised a client on how she can use social media to promote her theatre company and it got me thinking … why aren’t I using Pinterest to share my book reviews? Apart from a burst of activity when I first discovered Pinterest, I haven’t really done much with it … but so many people love it and shouldn’t I be tapping into that?
So, I did it. I created a Pinterest board for Write Note Reviews. For Pinterest users, it means you can now follow that board and keep up with this blog in a different, more visual way. From now on, I’ll be adding reviews, author interviews and other bookish thoughts on there as well as here, Facebook and Twitter.

Hope you like it. If you have a similar board, let me know in the comments so I can follow it.

Just followed you! I’m on Pinterest but I’m not very good at it. I’m not even sure I do it correctly, but I do have a book review board. Here’s the link: http://www.pinterest.com/louisejallan/
I was just adding more books and noticed you’d followed, so have followed you back.
What a very nice idea.
Thank you, James. It’s pretty, if nothing else!
I add my titles sporadically, and follow a number of bookish boards 🙂
This is so cool, I am following you on Pinterest now.
I keep wanting to do something like this too. I do have a Pinterest board but struggle to link it up with the blog. For one, there is no automated way, second is that I always thought my book reviews are just not enough visual interest, but you’ve proved me wrong with your great board.
Thanks Nish. I was hoping for an automated way, but couldn’t find one. The easiest way is to add the Pin It gadget to your computer. When you hover over images the icon comes up, recommending you pin it.
