‘Not with your body. With you.’ That amused but dismissive glance that infuriated her. ‘You could make me like you.’

I read Red Sand Sunrise in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it, which made it an easy choice for a teaser this week. I wanted to share a wonderful exchange between two characters – one trying to seduce the other, and not getting very far. It was so refreshing … but here’s that teaser. To give the context, Sienna, an obstetrician temporarily seconded to an outback town, is bored and trying to put the moves on a hunky, but reserved policeman, Sergeant McCabe.
