Liam Neeson, cats and creativity.

What do you do when creativity is at a low point?

A few family issues put a dampener on my creativity last week. Worrying, over-analysing and trying to fix things (that may not be mine to fix, I’ll admit) does tend to take its toll on the creative mind.  And then I saw my cat. Completely unconcerned about life, children, writing, husbands and even food (given that her chubby self had already consumed her breakfast in record-breaking time). Her worries amounted to whether she really had to get off the bed I was trying to make (and what was poking her under the quilt).

PS. It is difficult to hold a camera still while you are poking a cat from underneath a quilt.

“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want.”

“If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money.”

“But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career.”

“Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.”

“If you let ME go now, that’ll be the end of it.”

” I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. “

“But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”

“Show’s over. I’m grooming.”

PPS. Quotes are from the movie Taken (2008) featuring Liam Neeson.

This is a fabulous post. Your cat is gorgeous and it made me giggle. Thank you.

What do you think? I'd love to know.
